Mr. McCloskey will speak about how his grandparents were matched together in Nazi-occupied Germany. Joe will also share how his mother and her siblings were placed in the Hitler Youth Program after a mining collapse killed his grandfather. You'll hear what life was life for Joe while growing up with his mother, who had been a test run for "Lebensborn," a government plan to produce "pure" Aryan children.
