The Odessa Klezmer Band, under the direction of Ed Goldberg, returns to Monmouth County! The Band, formed in 1984, performs throughout the region to enthusiastic reviews.
Klezmer comes from the musical culture of the Ashkenazi Jews of Eastern Europe. In the US, the genre evolved as it blended with American jazz. Today, klezmer is enjoying a resurgence of interest and renewed popularity.
